How do I access Kanopy off campus? I am getting an error message.

I went on this page: https://uwcsea.kanopystreaming.com and typed in the username and password from UWCSEA links. But the page says "Sorry, this is not a valid account".

Answer

Go to http://uwcsea.kanopystreaming.com/

and see this screen

SCREEN 1

Login using the username and password on the UWCSEA page.

SCREEN 2

Select a film. You should be able to view without a problem.

If you don't see SCREEN 1 - try accessing a movie without signing in.

Kanopy will then ask you to login with the UWCSEA username and password.

 

You DO NOT login using the login feature on the top right of the screen. Only use this to set up a personal account to enable playlists, clipping etc. To enable this feature you can JOIN. You will still need to login to the UWCSEA account to view videos and sign in to your own account as well to make playlists
