Why are so many books on loan from the Bolinda Borrowbox?
I cannot always borrow the books that I want.

UWCSEA went live with our new digital library in May 2019. Just like a physical library, books need to be selected and added. This is both time consuming and costly. As with a physical library, if a copy of a book is on loan patrons can reserve the next available copy and wait until it becomes available. In spite of having almost 1900 titles by June 2019 many of the popular titles have waiting lists for them. The platform has been exceptionally popular. The libraries are constantly monitoring reserves and adding additional copies and new titles so do re-visit it frequently to see the new additions.
The platform will continue to grow and we expect to invest heavily in it over the next year.

We also highly recommend supplementing our collection by joining the National Library Board of Singapore. The have and extensive online collection.
