Q. Can we access Pressreader from school and home?

Answer

If you have a mobile device you can download the PressReader App.  If you bring the device to campus and download a publication you will then have the ability to download anything to the app for the next 7 days. Scroll down to see instructions to follow if you haven't been on campus with your device for a while.

On a laptop on campus just go to http://www.pressreader.com/ and the following window will appear. Click select publication. You will then be able to use the website for 30 days from anywhere without having to connect through our network.

From home go to http://www.uwcsea.edu.sg/pressreader  (on a mobile device do this in a browser like Safari or Chrome) - login and follow the link. You will have continuous access from anywhere.

If you create your own, free, account on PressReader you will be able to download publications from the website to the app by clicking on the 3 dots on the top right of the screen, selecting download and choosing your device.

PressReader contains some adult content. Please supervise children's reading and viewing at all times

Additional instructions for when you have not been on campus with your device for some time:

1. On a computer browser (Chrome or Safari) follow this link   http://www.uwcsea.edu.sg/pressreader (you will need to login with your UWCSEA account)

2. Sign in to Pressreader by clicking the 'Sign in' icon on the top right of the screen.

3. When you have chosen a publication, open it in your computer browser and then if you want to read it on a mobile device choose the option to 'Open this issue in PressReader App.'

4. Pressreader app needs to be installed on your mobile devices for them to appear in the list. Place a check mark next to the device you plan to use.

5. Click 'Done' and then your chosen publication will be on your PressReader app when you login using the same account you used on your computer browser. It should show up in your 'Downloads' on your device.

Please email LibraryEast@uwcsea.edu.sg or LibraryDover@uwcsea.edu.sg if you have any problems.
