Do you have any posters on referencing or showing what databases we subscribe to at East?

Answer

Yes, the library has sets of posters, all available as PDFs or PNGs -- ready for printing (e.g., as A3 or on the big Epson printer).

Referencing style posters

  • Set of 6 MLA (Modern Language Association) posters -- individually or all 6 in one -- Book, Website, Journal article, Video, Newspaper, and Image -- this is the Author style of in-text citations.
  • Set of 6 APA (American Psychological Association) posters -- -- individually or all 6 in one -- Book, Website, Journal article, Video, Newspaper, and Image -- this is the Author-Date style of in-text citations.
  • Set of 6 Chicago style posters -- individually or all 6 in one -- Book, Website, Journal article, Video, Newspaper, and Image -- this is the Numbered Footnotes style.

Digital subscriptions / Database posters

There are also individual posters for all the digital subscriptions and databases we subscribe to, which you can use to advertise them.  This includes JSTOR, EBSCO, Encyclopedia Britannica, BrainPop, etc.

One set of posters is for public use -- where our school's login/password details are NOT provided.  Instead viewers are directed to our secure login/password page.

Another set of posters is for internal use -- as the login/password details are displayed.  Use these in the OLP (Online Learning Platform) or on classroom walls.
