Can children keep using Epic over the holidays?

Answer

  • Free access from home comes to an end on 30 June 2020
  • The classroom code should not be used outside of the school buildings
  • Parents who signed up for remote access during Circuit Breaker (CB) will be offered access to a limited collection (what exactly is unknown yet) for 2 hours a week over summer. (Parents can still sign up before 30 June 2020. Parents can contact the library to be sent an invitation if this is their subscription choice)
  • Parents who didn't sign up for access during CB will be able to get a 30 day free trial to the full service
  • Parents can subscribe to the full service for USD7.99 per month
  • When school resumes at the end of August students can use the class codes from the school building from 6am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. (Times governed by the time setting on your device)
  • Epic will remain free for educators and at East, the library will continue to manage your accounts for teachers in the new school year
