Can parents access the library digital resources?

Answer

For the most part, unfortunately we are unable to provide parents with access to most of our digital resources. This is because our user agreements with vendors are based on student enrolment numbers and are provided for the express purpose of giving students and teaching staff the digital learning tools required to support the curriculum. For some resources, such as Pressreader, we are able to provide parent access however this is not possible for most of our offerings.

If you would like to assist your child with access to this wealth of content, we encourage you to sit with them to click through some of what is on offer - visit our premium library resources page for the full list. Click on the 'Password' link at the top of that page if you need more information about how to access each service.

During school hours (Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm) you are able to message library staff directly via the ASK chat service (see the "Welcome to LibChat" to the right of this screen --> ).

Additionally, if you would like more information about this, the Head of Libraries or Teacher Librarian would be happy to meet with you to talk through the range of options and what might be appropriate for you child depending on their grade level. Please use the LibChat feature to the right or email libraryeast@uwcsea.edu.sg or librarydover@uwcsea.edu.sg to contact your librarians
